Killer Knocks ‘Em Dead

Great job today by Emily "Killer" Kindlon at the Philadelphia Marathon.  She set a PR of 3:21 and ran a tough and disciplined race.  That makes 3 marathons and 3 PRs in the last year.  Strong showings from Ted from Jack Rabbit, Amy from Nike, and the pacing team of Terence, Blair and Sarah Conway.

Not Bad For a Fat Old Guy

Bill Goins made the quick turnaround from Kona, with a strong showing at the 70.3 World Championships.  At age 48 and 200+ pounds, Bill finished in 4:45:33.   After years of making it rough on everyone and dominating the Clydesdale (or "fat boy" as he calls it) division, Bill swears that this is the end of his competitive triathlon career.
If so, it’s great to see him go out with such a fine effort.
