Pancake ’07

Unfortunately, a family emergency made the duathlon showdown impossible, but we still had some great showings at the Staten Island Du/Triathlon.  Among them:

  • Jeannine Bardo – 1st in AG, 4th overall in Sprint
  • Lauri Young – 4th in AG in Sprint
  • Geoff Badner – 5th in AG, 21st overall in Sprint
  • Sarah Harrison – 2nd in AG, 11th overall in Sprint
  • Danny Artiga – 3rd in AG, 17th overall in Duathlon
  • Rod McClave – 3rd out of water in Olympic

After the Fall

BeyonceYesterday, Beyonce took a nasty fall on her delicate little bottom during her concert in Orlando, FL.  Perhaps foreseeing the inevitable, Ms Knowles apparently asked that concert-goers not post the video on You Tube.  While her plea wasn’t enough to prevent the publication, our litigious friends at Sony BMG were – and the video has been removed.

NYC Tri 2007

Nyc07_4Tremendous effort yesterday at our hometown race.  It was a beautiful day, and all the City Coachers performed admirably.  Thanks to all of you for doing such a great job, and looking so spiffy in the new uniforms.  The day’s highlights include:

  • Nate Horne 3rd Place (out of 400+ finishers) in the 35-39 AG.

Watch Who Run?

ABC is once again showing NSQ (along with other CPTC runners) in their ad for the Nike NYC Half Marathon.  Of course, she didn’t run it last year, and since she and her gimpy hamstring are off in Guatemala at present, her presence at the starting line – let alone the finish line (that she brags about crossing) seems highly unlikely.

Jeannine and Nate at Nat’s
