Nice work yesterday by Team Z at the Sleepy Hollow Half Marathon.  Steven Zebrak did his first race in his new age grou, finishing in 1:40:32, while his still 30-34 AG bride, Jessica Purcell finished in 1:38:25, which was good enough for 5th place in her AG.

Congratulations to any and all City Coachers at today’s NYC Half. Some were shooting for PR’s, some used it as a tune up for Boston or London, some are just rounding into shape, but all performed admirably. The day included some personal bests, and some remarkably smart racing and even pacing.  Nice work team.

We’re teaming up with our friends at JackRabbit Sports for a couple of upcoming Brooklyn-based programs.

  • Brooklyn Half Marathon. In 2004 this was our first training program with JackRabbit. You know what they say, “tenth time is the charm”. Emily Killer Kindlon and Tom Buffolano will be staffing the program, and I’ll be overseeing the training program.
