Wiser words were never spoken! I’ve done three triathlons in the past two months, and one of the things I immediately think of after each, win or lose, is what I’ve learned from them. Each triathlon is a learning opportunity. Just like each pair of jeans reworn is one I don’t need to launder.

Since I last wrote about USAT National Age Group Championships, there have been a few momentous happenings. Unfortunately, “momentous” doesn’t always mean positive, but we’ll get to that. First, the good – a week after my peak race at Nationals, I coasted for a week until the Lewisburg Triathlon, which was also Herb’s triathlon debut!
