Wiser words were never spoken! I’ve done three triathlons in the past two months, and one of the things I immediately think of after each, win or lose, is what I’ve learned from them. Each triathlon is a learning opportunity. Just like each pair of jeans reworn is one I don’t need to launder.

From Concept to Competition – NJ State Triathlon Recap

One year and one month ago, I emailed Coach Cane and declared my desire to do triathlon. One week and two days ago, I competed in my first Olympic distance triathlon, the NJ State Triathlon. I have a few things to show for it, besides some soreness, blisters, and a skill for drawing parallels between time passing.
