Orange County Duathlon Race Report

Get the red, white and blue uniforms printed. Isang Smith and Sheila Monaghan will be joining grizzled veterans Nicole Sin Quee and Jessica Purcell at this year's Duathlon World Championship in Ottawa. While NSQ and Jess took the easy way out and qualified off of last year's ranking, Isang and Sheila raced their way in at today's Orange County Duathlon. The Orange County race was one of three regional qualifiers, and the top six in each age group get a shot at Worlds. Thankfully, Isang and Sheila didn't cut it close and make their coach sweat. Isang was 6th overall and won her AG, while Sheila was close behind in 7th, and finished 3rd in her AG. Congratulations ladies. Get ready for the road trip, and those spiffy Team USA uniforms.
